Carter Lloyd Horne was born in a rich family and grew up in the life of luxury. Unfortunately in 2008, due to poor management and recession in the global market, the longtime fortune was depleted. When Carter was 14 years old, his family moved into a motel and dramatic lifestyle change, affected his childhood immensely. In these bad days, Music became the only thing that could lift his motivation and spirits.
Singing and “The Voice” Journey of Carter Lloyd Horne
Carter Lloyd Horne started singing as a hobby and also because it lifts his spirits in the bad phase of life. When Carter’s cousin started inviting him to church for singing, then he realized that music could be more than just a hobby. So Carter becomes a full-time musician and started performing gigs around the town.
In 2018, Carter competed in the finale of an undiscovered artist showcase at the Madlife Stage and Studios in Woodstock, Ga., and has been a featured musician at an Atlanta’s Emerging Artists show at the Hungry Ear Coffeehouse.
In 2019, Carter gave blind audition for “The Voice” Season 16 and sang the song “Drinkin’ Problem” by Midland. Carter was successful in turning chairs of Kelly Clarkson and Blake Shelton. Blake said he sounded nervous early in the performance, but pulled it together nicely. Carter selects Blake to coach him and joined Team Blake.

Carter Lloyd Horne’s father and mother, Jennifer, both are very supportive of him. Carter is also lucky to get the love of his Grand Parents. During Carter’s High School days, it was his Grandmother who bought a Guitar for Carter. This was the Guitar from which Carter started his Music Journey.
