Diwakar Sharma is a talented singer from Delhi. He was born in 1993 in Delhi to Sri Sushil Sharma and Mrs. Alka Sharma. At the age of one, it was confirmed that the child Diwakar is visually impaired and he will have no vision for life.

Diwakar started singing at the age of two years. According to Diwakar, singing came naturally to him. At the age of 4, he started taking professional singing coaching and music education. At age of 13, Diwakar participated in Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Lil Champs. His singing was liked and appreciated by judges and the audience. In the middle of the show he was eliminated by the decision of the judges but he could successfully make a comeback with the popular vote of the public. He reached the finale of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa and got the 2^nd position. The winner of the show was Sanchita from Kolkata.

After success in Lil Champs, Diwakar starts getting offers from many big music concerts. He even performed in front of then Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh. Besides singing, Diwakar was very good in Academics. In 2013, Diwakar became CBSE topper in his 12th-grade board exams and scored 94 percent marks. Diwakar sometimes gives five singing performances in a week and even manages to perform on the night before an exam. After success in 12th, he got an offer from Delhi University for Music Education. In 2019 Diwakar Sharma participated in Rising Star on Colors TV and got the appreciation of judges and audience.

Diwakar Sharma’s father, Shri Sushil Sharma was National level Biker & Sportsman and his mother, Mrs. Alka Sharma was Doctor. After 21 days of the birth of Diwakar, his parent took him to the doctor. The Doctor told them that, he has no vision. Diwakar’s family was totally in shock and cried continuously for six days. His mother left her profession to take care of her visually impaired child, Diwakar. It was his mother who identified his singing talent. His parents are always supportive of his education and career. Diwakar’s parents never forced him to top, they just taught him to do hard work.
