Anushka Banerjee is an Indian playback singer based in Kolkata, West Bengal. She was born on 23 March 2000 in Kolkata, West Bengal, India.
She completed their school studies at Carmel High School, Kolkata. She did her college education at Chandigarh University. Anushka started singing from her school days. She is currently participating in the Indian Idol 2020 singing reality show.
Anushka’s parents are very supportive of her carrier. Her mother’s name is Soma Banerjee and father’s name is Prosanta Banerjee. She also has one brother, Agnik Banerjee.
Music and Singing Journey of Anushka Banerjee
Anushka Banerjee’s Parents, especially her mother always wanted her to explore the celebrity field. So from the very childhood, she learned every creative activity like painting, dance, acting, modeling.
Anushka’s singing talent was first recognized by her class teacher when she was in 4th grade. Her teacher recommended her parents, take on the Singing field for Anushka’s carrier.
In 2013 she gave an audition for Zee Bangla’s Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Little Champs. She was among the top 5 contestants.
She also participated in the singing reality show “Sauron Ka Eklavya”. During the “Sauron Ka Eklavya” show, she got the opportunity to learn from great musicians like Ismail Darbar, Bappi Lehri, and Jatin Pandit.
In 2018 She got selected for Sa Re Ga Ma Pa on Zee TV where she was placed in Team Wajid.
In 2020 Anushka gave an audition for Indian Idol season 12. She was portrayed as a very nervous girl during Indian Idol Auditions. But she managed to clear the Theater round and reached among the top 15.
