Bipita Chakraborty is singing and participating in singing competitions since her very childhood. Bidipta studied at Sodepur Sushil Krishna Sikshayatan for girls-H.S., Kolkata.
In 2017 she participated in Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Lil Champs where she lasts in the top 8 contestants. Initially, she got eliminated prior to Gala Round. But due to the popularity of the show, Zee TV took re-auditions (Challenger Audition) in which she got selected and lasts in the top 8.
Bidipta continued her practice even after elimination and in 2020 she tried her luck in Zee Bangla Saregamapa and got the 2nd Runner-up position.
She came back on national television in 2022 on Sony TV singing on the reality show, Indian Idol. She is currently among top 8 contestants in the show.
