Carmen Carter always dreams that her name become famous among people. Carmen lost her initial singing projects just because she has been judged on the basis of her looks and fat body. The Record Executive told her that she is too fat to be a lead singer. No one recognized her beautiful voice and they instead judged her looks. So her confidence got shattered and she became a background singer and started providing vocal harmony with the lead vocalist and other backing vocalists. Carmen also sang in the background for “Dancing with Stars” for more than 10 seasons.

Carmen Carter started earning her bread and butter by singing background and she also raised her two children during this period. Carmen Carter’s Singing got noticed by people when she was singing on the background of Maroon 5 at NFL Super Bowl Halftime Show. Later her family insists her to take part in Americas Got Talent.
