Basic Information

Eric Chien is a Taiwanese Magician who won season 3 of Asia’s Got Talent and joined America’s Got Talent season 14. Eric Chien was born in Tai Pei, Taiwan and he grows up watching magic on TV. Eric’s family went to American when he was 4 years old where he started performing magic at the age of 16 years. Eric Chien is now the resident of Houston, Texas.

Achievements and Career of Eric Chien

Eric Chien grew up watching Magic on TV and he told everyone that he is going to be a magician. Eric started performing magic at the age of 16 years. After college, he was called back to Taiwan for military service. He could no longer do magic or anything else other than military duties. During this period of life, Eric felt like he just lost his identity. But soon Eric left military service and returns back to the magic world and started performing magic. In 2018 Eric was crowned the winner of International Federation of Magic Societies (FISM) Magic World Championships in Busan, South Korea.

On April 2019, Eric Chien has crowned the winner of Asia’s Got Talent (Season 3) and he received the grand prize of $ 100,000. In May 2019, Eric got selected for America’s Got Talent Season 14. During audition of America’s Got Talent, Eric performed the same “Ribbon and Cards” magic trick that he performed for FISM Grand Prix 2018.
