Katie Kadan is a talented singer and live performer from Chicago, Illinois. Besides singing Katie is a great piano player. Katie was passionate about music from very childhood but she starts performing solo at the age of 30. Katie comes from a musical family and family jams were a regular part of life. Those family jam sessions were the beginning of bigger, musical pursuits. Her vision to expand her musical influence is shared with her two cousins, Ray Bleth and Joshua Paul and her amazing sister, Sarah Kadan.

Music and Singing Journey of Katie Kadan

Katie Kadan was surrounded by music from a very young age. She joined Chicago’s All God’s Children’s Choir when she was 10. She spent the next decade singing with her mom and sisters in church and choirs. She didn’t feel good about her fatness and never had the confidence to perform on her own. She was a chubby chick living in a skinny girl’s world. Katie started teaching music on the side but always felt something was missing. At the age of 30, she did an open mic and was floored by the positive response. Slowly she started booking gigs and began to accept her body. This developed confidence in her and she started feeling more spirited than ever while singing professionally. 

In 2019 Katie Kadan gave the blind audition for “The Voice American Season 17” to give her music career a boom. During Audition, she just rocked the stage and succeeds in turning the chairs of all four Judges. She picked John Legend as her coach and got placed in Team Legend.
