Personal & Family Information of Ricky Duran

Rick Duran is a talented singer and independent performing Artist from Worcester, Massachusetts. Ricky was born to father, Ricardo A. Duran, and Mother, Odette Duran. His father was a musician with another full-time job to support the family. Ricky inherited his love of music from his father. He attended  Grafton High School. After high school, Ricky went on to attend Berklee College of Music. Shortly after graduation, Ricky’s father tragically took his own life but encouraged him to keep doing what he loved. In 2019, Ricky lost his mother to breast cancer. Ricky does have three sisters who he has always been very close to.

Music and Singing Journey of Ricky Duran

Ricky Duran inherited his love of music from his father and started singing at a very young age. At 6 years old, Ricky’s father taught him the guitar and they played in a band together throughout Ricky’s high school years. During Graduation, he forms his own band while his father acted as their manager.  His band started performing in backyard gigs and local birthday parties.

Besides singing Ricky also play Guitar, Piano and he also writes songs. Ricky has dedicated his life to music to carry on his father’s legacy. He participated in “The Voice” to make his parents proud. Ricky gave blind audition for “The Voice American Season 17” and he selects Team Blake during the audition.
