Subhadeep Das Chowdhury is a classical singer from Kolkata and two time top finalists of Indian Idol.

Subhadeep Das Chowdhury is a classical singer from Kolkata, West Bengal. He got fame after getting selected in Top 14 of Indian Idol 11. Before getting fame Subhadeep was a Music teacher and he teaches classical music in Kolkata. He is highly inspired by great Mohammad Rafi and Arijit Singh.

His mother Shila Das Chowdhury is very supportive of his music career. After the death of his father, his family was in financial trouble. So he started giving Musical classes and sing in local clubs to earn some money for his family.

Music and Singing Journey of Subhadeep Das

Subhadeep Das is trained in Indian Classical music and he is learning classical music from the very childhood. In 2017 he competed his Graduation from Jadavpur University. After death of his father, he started teaching Classical music in Kolkata. Besides teaching music, he used to sing in local Clubs and Cabarets.

Some parents of Shubhadeep’s students discontinue their child from his classes after watching him singing in Clubs. After this incidence, he started wearing fake mustache while singing in Clubs so that nobody can identify him. Without mustache he calls himself Aditiya and with mustache he calls himself Shubhadeep.

Shubhadeep Das has many achievements in his name during his singing career. He got 1st position in Classical Voice of India in  2017. In 2019 Shubhadeep gave audition for Indian Idol 11. His classical performance impressed all three Judges and he got selected in the top 15.

In 2023, Subhadeep won the Championship title of Super Singer Season 4, a Bengali singing show on Star Jalsa. The same year he once again got selected in 14th season of Indian Idol and came in new looks and beard style.
